{Review} Freeman Revitalizing Pomegranate Peel-Off Gel Mask

Hey Guys!

After my last fail with a Freeman mask which you can read about here, I decided to have another go at it and hoped that my face wouldn’t melt off lol! I didn’t end up buying the full tube because of my last experience, I couldn’t risk wasting my paper you know.

But let’s get to the review shall we….

♥ Ingredients

Water, Polyvinyl Alcohol, SD Alcohol 40-B, PEG-8, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Punica Granatum Extract, Garcinia Mangostana Peel Extract, Euterpe Oleracea Fruit Extract, Lycium Barbarum Fruit Extract, Mangifera Indica Fruit Extract, Vaccinum Angustifolium Fruit Extract, Vaccinum Macrocarpon Fruit Extract, Morinda Citrifolia Fruit Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Sodium PCA, Tocopheryl Acetate, Panthenol, Allantoin, Polysorbate 20, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Fragrance, Butylphenyl Methlypropronial, Amyl Cinnamic Aldehyde, Linalool, Blue 1, Red 33

♥ Price

The price of these sachets go for about R27 at Dischem. I like buying these single use sachets because I get to have a wide variety of masks. Even though you do get cheaper single use masks these are not badly priced at all.

♥ Claims

The pomegranate infused mask gently purges dirt and excess oils from skin for a cleaner revitalized complexion. An 8-antioxidant blend of Pomegranate, Acai, Goji, Mango, Mangosteen,  Cranberry, Noni and Blueberry guard against free radicals and environmental stress.

♥ My Thoughts

Firstly this mask is sticky AF! but that’s to be expected from these peel off masks. As usual I applied the mask with my flat foundation brush. The first thing I noticed was the smell, I am a sucker for fruity scents and this one smelled sooooo yummy compared the cucumber peel off mask which had a strong chemical scent. So I was really happy about that.

Applying this was a pain and I got some over my brows and my hairline. Once I finally had a nice even layer I let the mask dry and do its magic. I admit that I am an extremely impatient person and having to wait over 30 minutes for a mask to dry was not my idea of fun. However, once it is dry then it’s time for the best part, peeling the mask is oddly satisfying.

After I removed the mask I washed my face with warm water and moisturized with my usual Avon moisturizer. I immediately noticed that my skin looked brighter and felt super refreshed. My skin was absolutely glowing and was also notably softer. I am so happy that it wasn’t harsh and that I didn’t have any bad reactions.

Would I repurchase this?? Yes, yes and yes! I would even go ahead and buy the full-sized tube.

Do you think you’d try it out?
